Slip-Scan requires certain device permissions to function properly. We only request permissions necessary for core functionality, and you can manage these in your device settings.

📷 Camera Access

Why we need it: To capture images of receipts, invoices, and financial documents for digitization and expense tracking.

How it's used: When you tap "Scan Receipt" or "Capture Invoice," the camera activates to take a photo. Images are immediately processed and can be stored locally or synced to your account.

Example: You photograph a restaurant bill after a business lunch to log it as an expense in real-time.

🖼️ Photo Library Access

Why we need it: To allow you to upload existing photos of receipts from your device's photo library.

How it's used: When you select "Choose from Gallery," you can browse and select previously captured images to import into Slip-Scan.

Example: You received a digital receipt via email, saved it to your photo library, and now want to upload it to Slip-Scan for expense tracking.

💾 Storage Access

Why we need it: To save exported reports, backup data, and store processed documents on your device.

How it's used: When you export expense reports as PDF or CSV files, they are saved to your device storage for sharing or archiving.

Example: You export a quarterly expense report as a PDF and save it to your device for submission to your accounting department.
